Alba Family Fun Day: June 27, 2026. 11:00AM - 5:00 PM. Chestonia Park, Alba, Michigan.  

• Featuring: Kids Parade, Kids Games, Corn Hole, Flea & Craft Booths, Free Hot Dogs, Lots of Family Fun. 12PM: Kids Parade (Meet at the Alba School parking lot at 11AM). 1-3PM Kids Games. 11AM - 5PM: Flea & Craft Booth. 
• Sponsors: Alba Public School, Star Township FD, Rustic Roast Cafe. 
• Benefiting: Star Township Food Pantry.  
• After 5:00PM Entertainment: Live Music by Vertigo-Up North. 5-9PM at Blue Lakes Adventure Camp on Cinder Hill Rd. Taking Donation for local food pantry.

Public Debris Disposal:   The state Department of Natural Resources (DNR) has opened 17 public debris disposal sites to serve the 12-county disaster area as cleanup efforts continue. The DNR has asked for assistance reminding affected residents that to prevent the spread of invasive pests and tree diseases, it is important to use any firewood created by the storm on-site or locally and take advantage of the public debris disposal sites. It is unlawful to dump or dispose of debris on public lands or property. 

Recycling: CLEAN recyclables may be recycled in the red bins at the Star Township Hall.  Please visit Antrim County Conservation District for what you can and cannot put in the bins.  Note: NO TRASH is Permitted. 

Household Hazardous Waste (all events run from 8AM - NOON):

The Antrim Conservation District is hosting 3 Household Hazardous Waste Collection Days in Antrim County in 2026. All events run from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
