2020 Census - 1,028 Residents Best of Northern Michigan Living! With easy access to all the beautiful "Hot Spots". When the going gets tough, the star residents pull together as one! STAR TOWNSHIP MEETINGS: 2nd Wednesday of each month at 7:00 PM Place: Elmira Township Hall.  


ELECTION:   Next election: August 4, 2026


TAXES:   As of March 2, 2026, the 2025 taxes are considered delinquent.   Please call the Antrim County Treasurer at 231-533-6720 to receive your current payment due.


Summer tax bills are mailed July 1. Winter tax bills are mailed December 1.

Summer Hall Rental

The Star Township Hall is not available to rent during the summer at this time. For hall rental options, please contact the Alba Sportsman's Club.


Winter Hall Rental 

Residents/Property Owners of Star Township Hall Rental $100.00, plus a $100 Deposit.  $200 must be paid to secure the hall.  


Non-Residents/Non-Property Owners of Star Township Hall Rental $200.00, plus a $100 Deposit.  $300 must be paid to secure the hall.  


The $100 deposit is refundable after the event if the hall is left in clean and acceptable condition.


Please Note: The Hall is not available for rental during or around election times. Please contact township for availability.
